Dr. Amy Villano grew up in Somerset, NJ and attended Franklin Township public schools. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2001 with a degree in Animal Science. Dr. Villano earned her veterinary medical degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. 

After working as a small animal veterinarian first in Edison, then in Hillsborough, NJ she joined the Nassau Animal Hospital staff.

When not working, Dr. Villano enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog, Hazel. She likes to ski, travel, go to the beach, and take long walks with her dog.
